More About Us and Our Approach to Spiritual Direction
Our Philosophy
At the heart of our practice is a simple belief: spiritual direction is about companionship on your journey towards deeper connection with God. It's not about fixing or counselling, but about listening deeply and attuning ourselves to God's presence in your life. We focus on your relationship with God and the practices that nourish it. Our goal is to create a space where you feel heard, seen, and supported as you explore the sacred ground of your soul.
Our Training & Experience
-
Rooted in Tradition: Trained at an academy under the guidance of the bishop of the Anglican Diocese in New England, we take an approach that's steeped in the rich traditions of spiritual direction that date back to the early church.
-
Inspired by the Mystics: Our practice is modelled after the profound insights of St. Teresa of Avila whose groundbreaking work, Interior Castles, guides us through the complexities of our inner world. We also look to other mystics and saints like John of the Cross and Ignatius of Loyola.

-
Dedicated to Growth: With decades of experience in pastoral and spiritual roles, we've committed ourselves to continual learning and development, ensuring we offer you the most compassionate and informed guidance.
-
Commissioned Authority: Recognized and commissioned by our respective spiritual communities, we carry the responsibility of our roles with humility and dedication, always placing your spiritual well-being at the forefront.
